Since 2000, we’ve always made family wellness the focus of our chiropractic care center. Dr. Gregory J. Sabatino and his team at Sabatino Family Chiropractic are passionate about working with family members of every age, from newborns, babies and children, to weekend warriors, expectant mothers and active seniors.
Because of our gentle approach, we have a particular affinity for the unique needs of children, as well as moms-to-be hoping to experience an optimal pregnancy.

Jose’s Story
12 year old Jose come to our office over a year ago with severe Asthma. At the time he was taking multiple asthma medications including prednisone, ipratropium, and inhaled formoterol. He had gained over 30 lbs and was unable to participate in at sports at school, without fear of an asthma attack.
After his first adjustment he was able to breath better than using his asthma inhaler. He continued to improve with every adjustment, and with the consent of his parents, we were able to get Jose off of all medications. An amazing thing happened, during his next check up at the child asthma clinic, he scored 100% on the lung function spirometry test.
Heart Warming Story
2 year old Jessica came to my office with her right leg internally rotated hip, with severe difficulty crawling and walking. The medical diagnosis was Childhood Hip Dysplasia and surgery was recommended by her pediatrician. After her first right sacroiliac adjustments her hips were back in place and was able to walk normally. Jessica was a breach birth and was delivered by being pulled by her right hip.
Like Jessica, Dr. Sabatino sees children of all ages, and through chiropractic care has allowed their bodies to function and heal; from bed wetting and colic to ear infections and asthma.

C-section Linked to Asthma.
Like many children with who suffer with asthma, Jose had a C-section birth. A study from the National Institute for Public Health found that children born with cesarean section are 79 percent more likely to have asthma. The study examined almost 3,000 8-year-olds and determined that a C-section birth is a major indicator for asthma.
During normal C-section procedure, the newborn is forcefully extracted by the shoulder though a tiny 4 inch incision in the mother’s abdomen. In this process T2-4 spinal vertebra are subluxated causing spinal nerve interference and decreased lung function.
